Finding The Perfect Pair Of Jeans: 4 EASY Tips

*Disclosure: I only recommend products I would use myself and all opinions expressed here are my own. This post may contain affiliate links, and I may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. You can read my full disclaimer here.

To be honest, finding the perfect pair of jeans is all about trial and error. I can’t even tell you how many times I have been so disappointed with a pair of jeans. Simply because they may fit well everywhere else but I have this huge gap in the waist. That’s been my issue for years! My other issue is that the jeans will not go over my hips- over it!
Based upon my experience of searching for the perfect pair of jeans. Here are some quick tips that have helped me along the way.

Measurements

Know your measurements. It just makes the process a lot faster when you already know what size jeans you are looking for.

Dressing Room

Try on the jeans before purchasing! Due to COVID, many retail stores have closed their dressing rooms. However, when everything returns back to normal, try on the jeans before leaving the store. This honestly will save you the headache of having to make a return. Plus, if that pair doesn’t work you can try-on another pair.

Spend The Coin

When you find that perfect pair….PURCHASE! There have been so many times where I wish I would’ve just purchased the jeans that I found. Sometimes jeans that work really well have a higher price point. My suggestion is to purchase a pair every other pay period or wait until you find a really good deal. For example, I know that Lucky Brand jeans are perfect for me. Lucky brand is at a higher price point compared to other brands, but I noticed they are sold at Marshall’s and TJMaxx, which allows me to maybe purchase two pairs of Lucky Brand jeans versus just one at the regular price point.

Patience

You’re not going to always find the perfect pair of jeans on day 1. Don’t force it and be patient.

I hope these tips will help you jumpstart your search for that perfect pair of jeans. Just to put some things into perspective, I am 5’2 and waist down I am quite curvy. As I mentioned above, Lucky Brand jeans have been my go-to. Check out some of the jeans that I have linked below.

3 Way To Style A Pair Of Jeans: Fall Edition

Jeans become my favorite once the weather cools down. I do not claim to be a fashionista, but I love fashion and wearing cute stuff….if that makes sense!

When it comes to jeans, I usually do not spend more than $40 on a pair. I usually purchase my jeans from TJMaxx, Marshalls, and Ross. Last month, my local Marshalls had a huge clearance event. I purchased 4 pairs of jeans that ranged from $6-$16, with three pairs being Lucky Brand Jeans. Years ago, I found out that Lucky Brand jeans fit me perfect. So, you can only imagine how super excited I was to find these jeans at a clearance price.
My initial thought was to style 3 different pairs of jeans, but I thought it would be more impressive to style 1 pair of jeans in three different ways. Here are three ways to style a pair of jeans. You can also check out my Instagram Reel to see me wearing the outfits.

Black High Waist Jeans, White Cropped Top, Floral Leather Jacket, White High Top Vans

Black High Waist Jeans, White Hearts Grey Sweater, Black Booties
Black High Waist Jeans, Black Body Suit, Camel Belted Waterfall Coat
